To celebrate their 100th anniversary, Aston Martin created this CC100 speedster concept. It’s a tribute to their DBR1 race car that won both the 1959 24 hours of Le Mans driven by Carrol Shelby and Roy Salvadori as well as the Nurburgring 1000 driven by Sir Stirling Moss and Jack Fairman. The CC100 is powered by Aston Martin’s 6.0 liter V12 engine that makes over 500 horsepower that puts power to the wheels through a 6 speed sequential manual transmission. Check out this video montage of the CC100’s design concept being born and evolving into a working car:
**EDIT** May 26th, 2013: Turns out it sounds pretty good, too.
