Fresh off of his record run up Pikes Peak, Rhys Millen takes on Round 6 of the 2012 Formula D Championship in Las Vegas.
Rhys Millen set the overall record up the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this past weekend in Colorado. This year was the first time the entire course has been paved. Millen set the record in his V8 Hyundai Genesis Formula D drift car. This is pretty much just raw in-car footage. I will update this if he releases something better.
Not to be outdone by Motor Trend’s recent sub $28k sports car shootout, Road & Track rounded up the Subaru BRZ, Mazda MX-5 and Hyundai Genesis Coupe with the 2.0 liter turbo engine for a rear wheel drive comparison. Watch the videos before you read my take on them:

Rhys Millen and Hyundai are the first of what I’m sure will be several videos of coverage from the Road Atlanta round of the 2012 Formula D Championship. They offer some nice views of the custom suspension in action. Formula D reversed the direction around the loop this year compared to previous years which some people said gave the advantage to the high power cars.
Rhys Millen gives us the run down on how he did at Round 1 of Formula D on The Streets of Long Beach. His team made some updates to their Hyundai Genesis coupe during the off-season to update it to the 2013 car and to comply with some new rules put forth by Formula D.
