Check out this on-board footage of the a tube-frame 1974 Mazda RX-3 GT-3 race car during the Walter Mitty historic festival at Road Atlanta. The car weighs 2030 pounds with the driver and is powered by a 12a with a bridgeport and 40mm carb. As you will see, the RX-3 is seriously quick.
Nissan recently announced that the experimental Deltawing race car will be making a return after being unceremoniously knocked out of its one-time exhibition in Le Mans. The car will be making another appearance in the Petit Le Mans series here in the US. Highcroft racing posted this on-board footage of some testing at Road Atlanta.
Chris Rado is a former drag racer with his team at Descendant Racing who now compete in the Global Time Attack series. They campaign a very distinctive Scion tC in the unlimited front wheel drive class. If you still don’t know who I’m talking about, it’s the car with the giant front wing on it.
